Summer in India means just one thing – mangoes, lots of yummy, delicious, juicy mangoes! As you can probably tell, I love mangoes, most people do, but how do you fit mangoes into your nutrition plan? That’s where my high protein mango froyo comes in. It makes for a delicious snack or a wonderful dessert treat after your bro dinner of chicken, broccoli and rice (aargh).

You will need the following to make this bowl of deliciousness.
- Ripe mango – 150 grams, cut into cubes and refrigerated
- Mango greek yoghurt – 1 cup
- Vanilla whey protein – 1 scoop (approx 30 grams)
Empty the greek yoghurt into a bowl. Add the whey protein into the bowl and mix together with a spoon till the lumps are out and the mixture reaches a creamy consistency.
Put it in the freezer for a minimum of an hour. Personally, I like it better when it’s not fully frozen, but you can leave it in longer of that’s your preference.
When you’re ready, take the bowl out of the freezer and add the cold mango cubes to the top. Dig in! You can also add some muesli/granola to it for some extra crunch.

* To calculate the above macros, I used one cup of Epigamia Alphonso mango greek yoghurt and Muscle Feast whey isolate.
Obviously your macros may vary slightly depending on your choice of greek yoghurt and whey protein.
